ProcedureGantry — Covers & accessRemove/Mount
Remove and remount the rear cover (with/without dome)
Two ways to get behind the gantry's rear cover: pull the rear cover off by itself, or — when you need the dome cover off too — kill power to the slip ring first and slide both off together.
Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — Gantry mechanism, source volume 2D201-061
Personnel
1 technician · Basic-to-intermediate — hand-tool cover removal (screws, hooks, rail stopper) plus lamp-connector disconnection for the rear-cover-only variant (6.5.1); the combined rear+dome variant (6.5.2) additionally requires isolating the distribution-board breakers first, given the DANGER hazard from slip-ring/brush high voltage (skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level).
