Remove and mount the Mylar sheet (ring)
The Mylar sheet is the flexible ring that seals the gap between the gantry's dome cover and front cover — remove it to get at whatever lies behind that joint, and mount it back precisely (overlap angle, orientation, and contact with the dome all matter) so the joint stays sealed against fluid ingress.

Safety
Hazard: Mylar sheet not mounted securely / not in close contact with the dome cover, leaving a gap between the sheet and the cover
Consequence: Fluids such as blood or contrast medium can leak into the system through that gap, resulting in damage to the system or deterioration of image quality
Avoidance: Mount the Mylar ring securely and confirm close contact with the dome using the Verification step below before returning the gantry to service
