Set up PWBs and adjust the kV waveform (VR3)
Set up the PWB being adjusted (only the XC actually needs it) and, after an XC PWB or SRU-H replacement, adjust VR3 on the XC PWB to shape the kV waveform's leading-edge overshoot at both 80 kV and 135 kV — using the XC maintenance software's Signal Show screen to judge, by eye, exactly where overshoot disappears without tipping into undershoot.
Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A)
Personnel
Adjust-level — requires the XC maintenance software (V5.13 or later) to drive the Menu window, IF Adjustment, Exposure Test and Signal Show screens; comfort taking repeated live X-ray exposures at controlled kV/mA/focus settings (80 kV, then 135 kV) while reading a waveform trace and judging by eye when overshoot has just disappeared; and awareness that over-rotating VR3 produces undershoot the XC test program cannot display. No torque values or mechanical disassembly are involved. (Skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level.)
