Integrated test — scan operation and image quality
Before the Aquilion 16 can be signed over, run every scan mode the console offers and prove the reconstructed images against the manufacturer's own image-noise, uniformity and CT-number specifications — the last functional gate of the installation sequence, immediately before predelivery cleaning and QC-sheet sign-off.
Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — installation volume 2C201-160, Section 26, "Integrated Test" (p.160-161). Follows Section 25's DICOM environment setup, imager-preset configuration and filming operational check (p.141-159) and precedes Section 27's couch-top-end/patient-fastener fitting, unit cleaning and installation-quality-check-sheet sign-off (p.162-165).

Intermediate — operate the console to run each scan type (scanogram, S&V, S&S, Auto-Index, dynamic, helical) and drive the standard ROI-calculation tool on the reconstructed images (250×250 pixel ROI for the phantom image-noise/CT-number-in-water table, 25×25 pixel ROI at six marked points for the TOS-phantom check); run the dedicated Q/A software for the Q/A-phantom's image-noise module; and read each measured value against the standard range printed in the tables below.
