Checks before turning on the power

Before the Aquilion 16's power ever goes on for the first time, work through five gates in order — bolt looseness, the high-voltage section, gantry rotation clearance, insulation/grounding, and 3-phase line voltage — exactly as laid out in Section 9 ("Checks Before Turning ON the Power") of the Installation volume.

Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — Installation volume, source volume 2C201-160, Section 9 ("Checks Before Turning ON the Power")
Personnel
Intermediate — visually read the paint marks on up to 20 numbered gantry bolts/screws against two torque tables and re-tighten any found loose with a calibrated torque wrench (2.2-83.4 N·m across the two tables, plus a separate 9.8 N·m spec at the SRU high-voltage connector); recognize which bolts are painted red and must be left alone; perform a visual leak check of the X-ray tube, heat exchanger and hoses; manually rotate the released gantry rotation section at roughly 1 rpm to check for interference by feel/sight; operate an insulation/grounding tester with the distribution-board breaker and the gantry's NFB1/NFB2 breakers deliberately turned OFF; and measure 3-phase line voltage with a meter against a 180-220 V band. No adjustment beyond re-tightening a loose bolt to spec, or correcting whatever the insulation check turns up, is called for within this section itself. (Skill assessment derived from the section's content — not an OEM-stated skill level.)
