Select footswitch mode (CBTB-016A/016B)
Set the patient couch's footswitch control mode — UP/DOWN or AUTO-SET/AUTO-HOME — for a CBTB-016A or CBTB-016B couch, by entering the `fsw` command at the KGTSM boot console over a HyperTerminal session.

Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — gantry/couch control volume 2D201-063, section 8.5; applies only to the patient couch CBTB-016A or CBTB-016B (source's own section title restricts this procedure to those two couch variants).
