Slit operation check (slice/slit width table) and wedge slide check & lubrication — 1.27/1.28

Verify, by moving the slit and wedge units from the test panel, that the slit width actually selected matches the chosen slice width against a reference tolerance table (item 1.27), and that the wedge slide moves smoothly without abrasion, greasing the change nut before reassembly (item 1.28).
