Gantry terminal-board looseness, screw/nut, cable and final cleaning checks — 1.55-1.58

Confirm the Aquilion 16 gantry's 200-V input terminal boards (TB1, TB2) and their screws/nuts are not loose, visually inspect the gantry and couch cables, and clean the entire gantry (including dust on the PWB) — periodic gantry inspection items 1.55 through 1.58, the closing items of the Gantry section of this maintenance volume.

Personnel
1 technician · Basic — a mechanical tightening check with a specified hand tool (flat-bladed parallel-tip screwdriver), two visual inspections (cable/terminal-board discoloration, cable scratching/twisting), and a general cleaning task; no meter, instrument, or disassembly is called out in source for any of the four items. The DANGER note requires isolating all system power before starting, which is an access/sequencing step, not added tooling complexity. (Skill assessment derived from the procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level.)

Safety

DANGER

Hazard: Performing the checks in items 1.55, 1.56, or 1.57 (the gantry 200-V input terminal boards, their screws/nuts, and the gantry/couch cables) while any system power supply is still ON.

Consequence: Source states only that these checks must be performed with all system power supplies turned OFF; it does not restate a separate consequence phrase for this specific note. The general electric-shock/injury hazard from live 200-V terminal boards (TB1, TB2) and connected cables applies — see this volume's general Safety Precautions (WARNING 2 / DANGER 4, Related) for the equivalent hazard stated in full.

Avoidance: Turn OFF all system power supplies before performing items 1.55, 1.56, and 1.57. Source's DANGER note scopes explicitly to these three items; it does not name item 1.58 (cleaning) — see the note under Steps below.
