Lower the Patient Couch from a Raised Position After a Failure (200 VAC Jig)
When the patient couch loses power while raised — for example, a blown fuse in the gantry cuts supply to the couch — use this recovery procedure to drive the couch back down with a temporary 200 VAC jig, rather than leaving a patient couch stranded up.

Safety
Hazard: 200 VAC applied directly to the patient-couch connector (CNN1) while performing this recovery procedure, and the couch itself moving downward once power is applied
Consequence: Electric shock from the energized connector; a hand or head caught by the couch as it moves down
Avoidance: Take care to avoid electric shock while working at the connector. Keep hands and head clear of the couch's path before and while applying power, so nothing is caught as the couch moves down.
