Gantry rotation system operation and troubleshooting (S/N Bxxxxx)

Diagnose an Aquilion 16 gantry-rotation fault on an **S/N Bxxxxx** unit by first confirming how the rotation control loop is supposed to behave through a normal power-up, start, and stop cycle, then working the OEM's own error-message flowchart and alarm-code (AL.) fault list down to the servo amplifier, MR sensor, cabling, or PWB actually at fault.

1 technician · Intermediate to advanced — electrical/electromechanical fault isolation on the gantry rotation drive: oscilloscope work at the MR sensor (5 VDC pulse check), continuity checks across KGTSM/servo-amplifier/KGTSP connectors, a resistance measurement at the servo amplifier terminal board, and DIP-switch/LED verification on the KGTSM PWB — escalating to replacement of the servo amplifier, DD motor, MR sensor/PWB, KGTSP PWB, or feedback resistors, and in several places to contacting Toshiba's Nasu Operations directly instead of continuing the repair in the field (skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level).
