Gantry rotation interlock when servicing with cover open

Opening the gantry front cover, left side cover, or rear upper cover automatically disables gantry rotation — this reference and short procedure explains why, how to deliberately override the interlock for service work, and how to read the two serial-number-specific interlock tables (7.2-1A / 7.2-1B) that define every valid switch-state combination.

Personnel
1 technician · Intermediate — reading and verifying gantry-rotation interlock switch states (NFB120/MS120/SW120) and KGTSM PWB indicators before and after a KGTSM reset, with awareness that operating SW120 the wrong way during rotation can damage the DD motor controller (skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level).
