Install the system software from CD-ROM (boot, format, Windows 2000 setup)
Boot each console in turn from the supplied CD-ROMs to wipe and reload its system (and, for Method 1, image) disk, step through Windows 2000 setup and driver install, set that console's regional/network identity, then install the CT application from the second CD-ROM and configure automatic login as kingbird.
Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — system software volume 2D260-074E*B, Section 9.2.3 "Installing the system software" (p.139-154). Runs once per console: the scan-system console and the image-processing (Sub) console are installed separately, each from the same CD-ROM No.1 ("Base System") / CD-ROM No.2 (the CT-application disc; "No.2" is this atom's own numbering — source labels only the first disc "Base System" and calls the other "the second CD-ROM") pair. Applies under both installation methods this manual documents (Section 9.1/9.2 overview, forward-ref, p.137-138): both Method 1 and Method 2 initialize the system disk through this same Section 9.2.3 sequence — Method 1 additionally extracts the image disk at Step (7) (Figure 9.2.3-4), Method 2 skips that one step and proceeds. Source does not describe this section's steps as differing between the 16-slice (TSX-101A/G) and 8-slice (TSX-101A/F) system-software variants.
