Couch cable, movement-accuracy, free-operation, interlock and limit checks — 2.6-2.11

Six periodic checks on the Aquilion 16 patient couch — internal-cable interference, couch-top movement accuracy, abnormal operating sound, free-operation force, gantry/couch interlock function, and vertical/horizontal limit-sensor cutoff — items **2.6** through **2.11** of the periodic patient-couch inspection table.

Personnel
1 technician · Basic to Intermediate across items 2.6-2.11. Items 2.6, 2.8, 2.10, and 2.11 are visual/functional checks — inspect cable clamps/connectors/covers during a vertical couch move (2.6), listen for abnormal sound while invoking every couch movement from the control panel (2.8), run the separate appendix "Interlock Test Method" procedure (2.10), and confirm vertical/horizontal limit-sensor cutoff by masking each sensor with opaque paper (2.11). Item 2.7 requires removing the couch-top under cover and reading a 50 mm dial gauge against a stated ±0.25 mm tolerance after a 10 mm IN/OUT feed. Item 2.9 requires operating the free lever by hand, then reading a calibrated 98 N push-pull gauge. None of items 2.6-2.11 calls for a KGTSM/PC service-cable session or an electrical measurement.
