Fine-adjust the Aquilion 16 patient couch's lateral, vertical, and longitudinal-level position relative to the gantry by scanning a metal ruler laid across two reference points on the couch top and nudging the couch's anchor and angle-adjustment hardware until the ruler lines up with an on-screen scale in four CT images.

Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — Installation manual (source 2C201-160), Section 12.6 ("Performing Fine Adjustment of the Patient-Couch Position Using CT Images"), immediately following Section 12.5 ("Temporarily Securing the Anchor Brackets," p.112) and preceding Section 12.7 ("Securing the Anchor Brackets," p.117); no couch-configuration-specific constraint (e.g., CBTB-016A/016B) is stated in this section
Personnel
1 technician · Intermediate — an iterative loop that combines mechanical adjustment (loosening/rotating the anchor-bracket "a"/"b" bolts for lateral position, the angle-adjustment bolts and shims for vertical position) with acquiring four CT scan images (120 kV, 50 mA) and visually comparing the metal ruler's edge against an on-screen scale, then a final physical spirit-level check for longitudinal levelness. No electrical measurement is described in this section (skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level).
