Connect warning lamp, door switch and inter-unit cables

Wire the warning lamp and door switch into TB2/TB3 with the correct fuse and JP1 jumper mode, then land the patient-couch, console (CPU BOX/REC BOX) and gantry-side inter-unit cables at their labeled connectors and clamp points, completing the electrical hookup of the Aquilion 16 before the pre-power checks begin.

Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — new-installation site work, Ch.8 "Connecting Cables" (§8.3-8.7: warning-lamp connection methods, door-switch connection, the four patient-couch cables, console CPU BOX/REC BOX cable connections, and gantry-side cable connections/clamping), source volume 2C201-160
Personnel
1 technician · Basic-Intermediate — land labeled cables and connectors (S01-S03, P01-P04, CP01, CS01-CS03, FCP40/FCS46/FCS12/FCE01, HMS04) on the terminal-board and connector positions called out in the wiring diagrams, select one of three KGTSP-board JP1 jumper positions for the warning-lamp operating mode, and clamp cables with cable ties (taking care at the thickly-coated section of optical-fiber cables). No electrical measurement or adjustment is described in this section; the general terminal-board screwdriver technique and torque values for TB1/TB2/TB3 are covered in the preceding atom. Safety

NOTICE

Hazard: Applying a supply voltage other than the one specified (100 VAC or 200 VAC) to a warning lamp or to its power-supply terminals, or using a fuse other than the specified 250 V, 0.5 A rating on the warning-lamp AC line

Consequence: The equipment may be damaged; equipment damage may also result from an abnormality if the wrong fuse is used

Avoidance: Never apply a supply voltage other than that specified to any warning lamp or to the power-supply terminals for lighting it; always use the specified 250 V, 0.5 A fuse
