Gantry/couch interlock test procedures
Step through the Aquilion 16's full HEIGHT/TILT/SLIDE interlock test set — one control at a time, from the couch/gantry operating panel, the Auto-set/Auto-home footswitch, and the console — confirming that each interlock stops the couch or gantry at its printed position with the correct panel-lamp response, so the installed system's interlock behavior matches what Appendix 28.7.1-28.7.3 documents it should be.
Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — Installation volume (source 2C201-160), Appendix 28.7.4 ("Contents of test"), p.199-203. This test set exercises the interlock positions and operation-interlock table documented in Appendix 28.7.1-28.7.3 — see toshiba-ct-aquilion16-install-interlock-positions-and-list, Related — which source separates by control-unit variant (CBTB-016A/016B). Source does not tag any individual test in this appendix (28.7.4.1-28.7.4.5) to a specific couch/control-unit variant by name; confirm the fitted variant and its own position/table data before treating any stop-position value below as universal.
Personnel
1 technician · Intermediate — a long functional-verification sequence run entirely from the couch/gantry operating panel, the Auto-set/Auto-home footswitch, and the console: operate one control at a time, then read the resulting stop position (HEIGHT indicator, tilt angle) and panel lamp state against the printed tolerance for that sub-test. No electrical measurement, cover removal, or KGTSM terminal session is described in this section — but correctly recognizing a blinking indicator, a lamp that should go out vs. remain out, and an interlock-abort (operation must stop/not proceed) takes familiarity with the couch/gantry interlock system as a whole. (Skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level.)
