Check DAS offset data with X-ray inhibited (JP3 test mode)
Put the Aquilion 16 into X-ray-inhibit test mode with the XC PWB's JP3 jumper, then run a DCA acquisition through Decode/Re-Correct/Calc(ScanData) to read the per-channel offset data — without generating any actual X-rays — and restore the jumper afterward.
Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A), software volume 2D260-074E, source p.29-31 (printed footers 2-19 to 2-21), section 2.4.2 "Offset data check" inside Chapter 2 "DCA Operating Procedures" / §2.4 "DCA Test Procedures." The section is printed as three numbered items — "(1) X-ray inhibit," "(2) Data acquisition," and "(3) Calculation" — each with lettered sub-steps (a)/(b)/(c)/(d). A different source volume (the DAS operating-procedures manual, 2D201-065E*D) documents this same JP3-inhibited offset-check workflow under its own unnumbered item on p.73-75 — see Related, toshiba-ct-aquilion16-das-dca-offset-data-check. That volume's own text does not repeat this section's closing restore-JP3 note.
Personnel
1 technician · Intermediate — move a single jumper pin inside the SRU power supply unit (XC PWB), then drive the DCA application through a multi-step acquisition/decode/calculation workflow (Acq. Detail → scan conditions → Decode + Re-Correct → Calc(ScanData) with start/end channel entry), then restore the jumper; no board-level rework beyond the one jumper move (skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level).
