Safety
Hazard: Flammable or explosive gases entering, or present near, the system, which is not explosion-proof
Consequence: Fire or explosion
Avoidance: Do not use flammable or explosive gases near the system. After cleaning or disinfection, ventilate the room sufficiently before turning the power supply back ON.
Hazard: Starting maintenance and inspection work while the breaker and system power switches on the distribution board are still ON
Consequence: Source states only "(To ensure safety.)" without detailing the specific harm for this item — treat as a live-power hazard while working on the system during maintenance/inspection
Avoidance: Before starting maintenance and inspection work, turn OFF the breaker and all the system power switches on the distribution board.
Hazard: Pouring or spraying liquids such as water or detergent onto the system
Consequence: Malfunction or an electrical short, possibly resulting in personal injury or electrical shock
Avoidance: Do not pour or spray liquids onto the system. Apply cleaning or disinfecting agents to a cloth that has been moistened and thoroughly wrung out, never directly to the system (see Steps).
Hazard: Cleaning or disinfecting the system with unspecified disinfectants/lubricants, in an unspecified manner or frequency, or with organic solvents (such as paint thinner) or abrasive cleansers — source labels this callout CAUTION, but the stated consequence is finish/equipment damage only (no personal injury stated), so FSELIB classifies it NOTICE per Z535 usage
Consequence: Discoloration or cracking of the surface finish, or damage to rubber or plastic parts (equipment/cosmetic only — no injury stated in source)
Avoidance: Use only the specified disinfectants and lubricants, in the specified manner and frequency. Do not clean the system with organic solvents (such as paint thinner) or abrasive cleansers.
