Place the couch and console and install the RDD HDDs

Place the patient couch in front of the gantry without anchoring it yet, position and cable the console — CPU BOX, REC BOX, monitors and keyboards — on its desk, and install the five RDD hard-disk-drive carriers into the RDD cabinet, completing the physical placement stage of Aquilion 16 installation before the couch is secured or the console is powered on.

Applies to

Safety

NOTICE

Hazard: Connecting the power cable of a unit/device other than the optional units to the transformer power connectors on the back of the CPU BOX

Consequence: Source labels this callout CAUTION; because the stated consequence is equipment malfunction — the internal fuse may blow, making it impossible to use the monitors, etc. — rather than personal injury, FSELIB classifies it as NOTICE per the equipment-damage mapping used across this platform. The connectors' total capacity is 100 V and 6.25 A.

Avoidance: Do not connect the power cable of any unit/device other than the optional units to these transformer power connectors.
