Confirm console startup, check the audio system and set up the console software

Before the couch is anchored, confirm the console powers up cleanly, verify the gantry/console intercom in both directions (adjusting the SS/ADI3 volume/tone trimmers if it isn't right), then enter the site's identification and configuration data into both the S-CON and the D-CON so the system knows whose hospital, which reconstruction engine, and which line frequency it's running on.

Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A) — Installation manual (source 2C201-160), Section 11 ("Operational Check of the Console"): 11.1 power-supply startup, 11.2 audio system check and SS/ADI3 VR adjustment, and 11.3.1 software setting on both the S-CON and the D-CON.
Personnel
1 technician · Basic — listening/functional confirmation and software data entry, plus (only if the audio check fails) a small-tool trim of the SS/ADI3 PWB's VR1/VR2/VR3/VR5/VR6/VR8/VR9 trimmers; entering serial number, station ID, hospital name, reconstruction unit, line frequency and mic-control selections on the S-CON and D-CON via Utility → Engineering → System Tool. No electrical measurement or component replacement is described in this section (skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level).
