Use the KGTSM maintenance panel

Operate the Aquilion 16's KGTSM maintenance panel — or its PC-terminal equivalent, maintenance mode — to drive individual gantry, couch, slit/wedge, and scan functions directly for test and adjustment work, bypassing the normal operator panels and console.

Safety

NOTICE

Hazard: Running the Scan function (SW32 = 8) more than 10 times in succession, or restarting the system sooner than 30 seconds after a scan shutdown.

Consequence: The controller for the DD motor may be damaged.

Avoidance: Do not perform scanning more than 10 times in succession while SW32 is set to 8. After any such shutdown, wait at least 30 seconds before restarting the system.
