ProcedureGantry — Tilt driveReplace
Replace the tilt power cylinder
Replace the gantry's tilt drive power cylinder by mechanically locking the tilt, swapping the cylinder, and re-verifying full tilt travel before the covers go back on.
Applies to
Aquilion 16 (TSX-101A)
Personnel
1 technician · Intermediate — sequential mechanical work: setting the tilt to a reference position, removing/opening several gantry covers, fitting temporary tilt-lock hardware, disconnecting/reconnecting the power cylinder's connector, and — the delicate step — fine-adjusting the tilt angle by hand until the tip metal fitting moves freely with only slight play before swapping the cylinder. No meters, calibration, or electrical test equipment are called out in this section (skill assessment derived from procedure content — not an OEM-stated skill level).
