Adjust the rotation balance (weights)

Adjust the rotation-section balance weights whenever any unit installed in the rotation section has been changed, by measuring the force needed to move the rotation section at four clock positions and correcting the front/rear weight distribution until the readings fall within tolerance of each other.

Safety

WARNING

Hazard: Removing a part of the gantry rotation section without first engaging the rotation lock pin of the rotation drive section

Consequence: The rotation section may rotate suddenly due to the weight imbalance caused by removal of the part, and a worker may get caught in the rotation section and be seriously injured as a result

Avoidance: Engage the rotation lock pin of the rotation drive section before removing any part of the rotation section; hold the rotation section firmly when pulling out the rotation lock pin
