What HC10834 means

On DryStar 5500 and DryStar 5503 CT systems, status code HC10834 indicates: Third output tray position sensor S29 not connected or malfunctioning. The code originates in the Output Sorter Module — Position Sensors section of the Output Sorter Module. Severity level alarm (Alarm).

Reported action: Check the connections to S29, then connector P30 on the MEC board, then the wiring between S29 and MEC/P30 with a multimeter, fixing whatever is not OK. If the wiring is good, power off the printer and replace S29; if the fault stays, the MEC board itself has to be replaced..
