Adjust the X-ray tube alignment (front/rear and left/right)

Realign the X-ray tube on the rotation base after tube replacement or whenever beam position drifts out of tolerance. The task has two independent axes — front/rear and left/right — each measured through the alignment utility in the service manual's software volume and corrected mechanically with a dial gauge and the tube mounting plate's adjusting bolts. Do front/rear first, then left/right.

Applies to
Activion16 (TSX-031A). No model/revision restriction is stated in source for this section. Typically performed as the direct follow-on to X-ray tube replacement (§1.4.3) or whenever tube position drifts out of tolerance.
