Security & Privacy Setup (HIPAA, optional)

When a Drystar 5300 site must be HIPAA-compliant, work through this worksheet with the hospital's security responsible person to record who may access the printer's Key-Operator, Service, and Specialist web pages, gather the Audit Logging and NTP server parameters, and confirm certificate availability — all before the installation is considered complete.

Applies to
Drystar 5300, Type 5365/100 (source Chapter 11/17-19, "Installation Planning," Edition 1, Revision 9, 12-2007) — the optional HIPAA-compliance security-and-privacy worksheet covered by §6.3.1 through §6.3.3, to be completed only when HIPAA compliance is required at the site (source, p.511).
Personnel
Basic — no diagnostic, mechanical, or calibration skill is required for this section itself. The engineer needs to recognize whether the site requires HIPAA compliance, know the printer's three web-access roles (Key-Operator, Service, Specialist) well enough to hand the right worksheet to the right hospital contact, and later carry the completed username/password and Audit Logging/NTP values into the printer's own configuration (that configuration procedure is covered elsewhere in the corpus, not in this section — see Related).
