Installation Prerequisites, Positioning and Cable Connection

Work through the DryStar 5300's seven pre-installation checks and setup-start tasks — site and power readiness, shipment completeness, positioning, transport-lock removal, and cable connection — logging the time spent under installation-report task code INS.

Drystar 5300, Type 5365 (source Chapter 1, "Controls, Connections and Set Up Procedures," Edition 1, Revision 10, 2006-01-26) — the seven pre-installation and setup-start tasks covered by §2.1-2.7 of this chapter, to be logged in the service/installation report under task code INS.
Personnel
2 technicians · Basic-to-intermediate field-service skill: compare the nameplate voltage/current against the site supply, check shipment contents against the packing list, position and align a 52 kg printer on a table (two-person lift), remove the transport protection locks (full procedure is elsewhere in the source manual, see below), connect the power and network cables, and — China installations only — apply an overlay warning label. No calibration or diagnostic-software step is included in this section.
