Perform density reproduction check
Run the density reproduction check on every film type the printer prints, so the pass/fail readout on the worksheet — not a guess — decides whether the CDM needs a re-calibration.
Applies to
DryStar 5300 (Type 5365/100). Must be carried out with every film type in use (source, chapter 3.6/11).
Personnel
1 technician · Service-level technician — logs into the printer's browser-based Service Engineer Tools, prints a service test image, and takes 11 manual density readings with a calibrated external densitometer, then transcribes the values into a MedNet-supplied Excel worksheet that computes the pass/fail verdict automatically. No disassembly and no test equipment beyond the densitometer itself. (derived — source does not assign a formal skill-level label to this section.)
