Adjusting the Film Positioner Unit to 11x14 Inch

Lower and reposition the DryStar 5300's film positioner unit — 3 screws, the output tray adjustment tool, and a short wire-harness reroute — an optional printer-setup step Agfa's installation sequence calls for only when the customer will run 11x14" film instead of the printer's 14x17" default.

Applies to
DryStar 5300 — this section's own document footer labels the printer "Type 5365" (no "/100" suffix) — source Chapter 1, §3 / §3.1, Controls, Connections and Set Up Procedures (DD+DIS346.05E), Edition 1, Revision 10 (2006-01-26), document p.43-44. Another atom in this corpus (Horizontal Film Alignment), sourced from a different chapter (3.6) of this SAME document number DD+DIS346.05E, labels the same printer "Type 5365/100" — both describe the DryStar 5300 dry film imager; the discrepancy is not reconciled here. Optional step: this adjustment is only required when the customer uses 11x14" film instead of the printer's 14x17" default (source, p.43).
Personnel
Basic mechanical/electromechanical — insert an accessory tool into the output tray, remove and remount 3 screws, lower and lift a sub-assembly by hand, and reroute a wire harness into the housing. No calibration, no cable disconnection, and no PC/browser step is called out in this section. Source assigns no formal skill-level label (derived).
