HC11101 — Drum calibration failed — encoder deviation exceeds allowed pulse count
Agfa CT error code, reported by the Print Drum Module.
What HC11101 means
On DryStar 5500 (Type 5364/100) and DryStar 5503 (Type 5364/300) CT systems, status code HC11101 indicates: Drum calibration failed — encoder deviation exceeds allowed pulse count. The code originates in the Print Drum Module — Drive Motor & Mechanics section of the Print Drum Module. Severity level alarm (Alarm).
Reported action: Check the drum drive mechanism for belt slip: inspect the toothed and flat drum belts for wear and correct routing on the pulleys, and remount or replace as needed. Check the two belt-tensioner mechanisms for sufficient belt tension and replace the tensioner springs if necessary. If the image-length problem persists after the belts and tensioners check out, the encoder read-out function on the MEC board has failed and the MEC board must be replaced..
Raised on the Drystar 5500/5503 print drum module when the drum encoder detects more deviation than allowed from the standard pulse count per revolution during drum calibration. Classed as a Failure, and the printer shows "Image length problem". Documented in the appendix alongside the related drum-mechanics fault HC11100.
