Reported action: Check the drum drive belts first: verify the flat belt driving the drum is mounted correctly on the pulleys and remount or replace it if not mounted, ruptured, or damaged, then check the toothed drum-motor belt the same way. Next check the connections to motor M1 and reconnect or replace the connector if faulty, then connector XS8, then connector P36 on the MEC board, and verify the wiring from M1 to MEC/P36 with a multimeter. If wiring is good, power off the printer and replace motor M1; if the fault persists, the motor function on the MEC board has failed and the MEC board must be replaced..
