Saggital Scan Pauses with Gradient Faults 666

Symptom

Sagittal Scan Pauses with Gradient Fault 666 Intermittent gradient power supply faults are occurring during sagittal localizer scan. Axial completes, then scan pauses after sagittal series is started. Restarting the scan in the coronal plane allows normal completion. HV message 666 (HV restart) observed on SCA in PSU during sagittal scan. Image collapses with bright horizontal line in sagittal view. 3-plane localizer protocol stresses gradients. Reducing the FOV will induce failure more easily.

2240255 Y Axis Gradient Amplifier Status. The auxiliary voltage is present but the high voltage is off.
