Replace the DAS PWB (Converter-16 / Control-16)
Remove and remount a printed wiring board (PWB) inside the DAS chassis on the Activion16 gantry — either a Converter-16 or the Control-16 PWB (or, on the CDAS-035A/2A generation, the equivalent AJ-CONVERTER / AJ-CONTROL PWB). The procedure is identical for both DAS generations and for either PWB type.

Safety
Hazard: Opening the gantry front cover (step 1) without turning OFF the circuit protector switch
Consequence: The DAS remains ON (energized) even though the front cover is open — source does not spell out the resulting injury beyond "the DAS remains ON"; this precedes disconnecting system power in step (3) and directly handling PWBs in steps (5)-(6), consistent with the electric-shock rationale behind the general breaker-OFF policy (see DAS-W01/DAS-W02, related)
Avoidance: Be sure to turn OFF the circuit protector switch when opening the front cover of the gantry
Hazard: Touching the parts of the DAS PWB or its pattern (circuit) surface with hands or another object while replacing it (step 6), or soiling it with oil, water, etc.
Consequence: The SD (a DAS channel image-quality/noise metric named elsewhere in this manual's DAS troubleshooting sections, e.g. §2.8.5/§2.8.6, but not spelled out in this section) may be made worse
Avoidance: Be careful not to touch the parts of the DAS PWB or the pattern surface with your hands or other objects
