Check the DAS supply voltage (Control-16 / Converter-16 PWBs)
Verify the DC supply voltages the DAS power supply unit delivers to the Converter-16 and Control-16 PWBs through connectors PCN2 and PCN3, and check the ripple on those same voltages with an oscilloscope. This is a bench check with the power cable and I/O cable already connected — you are reading supply rails at the board connectors, not commanding a scan.
Applies to
Activion16 (TSX-031A), CDAS-035A/1A data acquisition section (Control-16 / Converter-16 PWBs). No model- or revision-specific restriction beyond that generation is stated in source for this task; the CDAS-035A/2A 'AJ' generation has its own byte-identical-values procedure at §2.16.7 (Related), with AJ-CONTROL/AJ-CONVERTER board names in place of Control-16/Converter-16.
