Adjust the couch descent (lowering) speed — solenoid throttle valves L21/L24
Set how fast the patient couch lowers by adjusting the two solenoid throttle valves, L21 and L24. Both valves must end up with identical openings — the procedure works by fully closing both valves from a marked reference point, then reopening them together at the same rate.

Safety
Hazard: Working on the parts inside the lifter arms, near the upper frame, while performing this adjustment
Consequence: Crush injury
Avoidance: Be careful not to be crushed by the upper frame while working on the parts inside the lifter arms
Hazard: Leaving the knob detached from the solenoid valve and then opening that valve in that state
Consequence: Oil leaks out through the knob hole
Avoidance: Do not leave the knob detached from the valve. After adjusting the speed, tighten the L21 locking nut (turn the nut clockwise) to secure it
