Enable or disable couch-top sliding fine adjustment (KGTSM `adj`)

Turn the couch-top sliding fine-adjustment function ON or OFF from the KGTSM service console. The setting is stored in the KGTSM and is retained until you change it again — you do not need to reapply it after a power cycle.

Applies to
Activion16 (TSX-031A). Function added in service manual revision *D; earlier gantries may not expose the 'adj' command.

Safety

CAUTION

Hazard: Gantry power is cycled ON during the procedure and the couch drive becomes live.

Consequence: Unexpected couch-top motion can pinch or strike personnel.

Avoidance: Keep hands and objects clear of the couch travel path before powering the gantry ON in step 4.
