On DryStar 5500 and DryStar 5503 CT systems, status code HC10908 indicates: Exit roller motor M10 not connected or malfunctioning. The code originates in the Output Sorter Module — Transport Motors section of the Output Sorter Module. Severity level alarm (Alarm).

Reported action: Check the connector of M10, then connector P21 on the MEC board, then the wiring between M10 and MEC/P21 with a multimeter, fixing whatever is not OK. If the wiring is good, power off the printer and replace M10; if the fault stays, the MEC board itself has to be replaced..
