Disassemble the MUDAT (rotation and stationary section PWBs)
Remove the MUDAT — the gantry's optical data-transmission unit — down to its individual stationary- and rotation-section PWBs (SOT, SPD, ROT, RPD, PPBM, and PRTM), to replace a faulty board or to gain access for further work. Source documents this as a removal sequence and states explicitly: to reassemble, reverse the same procedure. No separate numbered reinstall subsection exists for this task i

Safety
Hazard: Hazardous voltage in the LCSR (slip ring section) and brush section, reached by removing the rear dome cover
Consequence: Electric shock
Avoidance: Do not remove the rear dome cover. If it is necessary to remove it, turn OFF the breaker before mounting/removing the rear dome cover. Do not turn ON the power of the gantry when the rear dome cover is removed.
Hazard: Looking into the LED through the opening to check the luminescence of the SOT
Consequence: Hitting your head or another part of your body against peripheral parts
Avoidance: Be extremely careful when checking the luminescence of the SOT this way.
Hazard: Rotating the gantry rotating unit with the IR converter inserted in the notch
Consequence: Interference with the hood of the rotating unit, damaging the system
Avoidance: Never rotate the gantry rotating unit with the IR converter inserted in the notch.
