Check gantry rotation and MUDAT data transfer after working on the MUDAT
Verify that the MUDAT is transferring data correctly before returning the gantry to service, any time you have opened it up to work on the MUDAT — for example after disassembling/reassembling it (§3.5.5) or performing the luminescence check (§3.5.4). The check runs the gantry through local test rotations while watching the GCIFA PWB's red LED and "FAIL" display for a data-transfer fault.
Safety
Hazard: Turning SW1-2 on the GCIFA PWB ON without first performing at least one local rotation of the gantry from the KGTSM (step 1)
Consequence: source states plainly that an error may occur
Avoidance: always perform at least one local rotation of the gantry from the KGTSM before turning SW1-2 ON
Hazard: Leaving SW1-2 on the GCIFA PWB set to ON after finishing this check (skipping step 6)
Consequence: source states plainly: image scanning cannot be performed normally — an abnormal image will be generated or the message "Abnormal acquisition data" will be displayed
Avoidance: always return SW1-2 to OFF before returning the gantry to service — this is the last thing to confirm before closing out the check
