Software Update via a Remote Computer

Load a software patch onto the DryStar 5300 straight from a networked PC's web browser — no CF card and no local keypad — by driving the printer's own Service Engineer Tools web pages end to end, then confirm the upgrade with a SMPTE test image and one test image per modality.

Applies to
DryStar 5300 (Type 5365/100)
Personnel
1 technician · Service-level technician — establishes a web-browser connection to the printer's own web pages, logs in to the Service Engineer Tools / Key-operator Command Session, browses to and uploads a vendor-supplied software-patch ZIP, and follows the on-screen prompts through to completion. No local keypad, disassembly, or bench equipment is needed for the upload itself. Source assigns no formal skill-level label to this section (derived).
