Printing Diagnostic and Test Images

Once the printer-modality DICOM link is up, print a batch of the Drystar 5300's own internal test images and a batch of real diagnostic images pulled from the connected modalities, then judge both by eye at a light box — confirming the whole print path works end to end, not just that the printer prints something.

Applies to
Drystar 5300, Type 5365 — source Chapter 1, "Controls, Connections and Set Up Procedures," Edition 1, Revision 10 (2006-01-26), §7.3 "Printing of diagnostic and/or Test Images" (chapter footer "Chapter 1 / 31").
Personnel
1 technician · Service-level technician — runs the printer's own service menu to print internal test images and modality-sourced diagnostic images, then judges print quality by eye at a light box against the modality's monitor; no disassembly or test equipment beyond the light box is called for in this section. (derived — source does not assign a formal skill-level label to this section.)
