Line Artifacts < 1mm

When a printed film shows one or more thin lines running the length of the print — dark, bright, or white — match the exact pattern to one of the three variants below before you reach for the thermal head.

Applies to
DryStar 5300 (Type 5365/100)
Personnel
1 technician · Service-level technician — runs the STI2 test image, visually distinguishes the dark-line, bright-vertical-line, and white-line patterns below, and cleans the thermal head per chapter 3.6; exchanging the thermal head is a follow-up FRU step if cleaning does not resolve the fault (derived — source does not assign a formal skill-level label to this section).
