What HC10905 means

On DryStar 5500 (Type 5364/100) and DryStar 5503 (Type 5364/300) CT systems, status code HC10905 indicates: MDM scan motor M11 not connected or malfunctioning. The code originates in the MDM Module — Scan Motor (M11) section of the MDM / Densitometer Module. Severity level alarm (Alarm).

Reported action: Check connector M11 and reconnect or replace if faulty; check connector P28 on the MEC board and reconnect or replace if faulty; check the wiring from M11 to MEC/P28 with a multimeter and fix it if faulty. If the wiring is good, power off the printer and replace the MDM assembly; if the fault remains, the motor function on the MEC board has failed and the MEC board has to be replaced..

Raised on the Drystar 5500/5503 MDM (macrodensitometer) module when the scan motor M11 is not connected or is malfunctioning. The printer shows "Calibration module not working".
