HC10053 — Themis board CPU too hot
Agfa CT error code, reported by the CPU Boards (Crius/Themis).
What HC10053 means
On DryStar 5500 (Type 5364/100) and DryStar 5503 (Type 5364/300) CT systems, status code HC10053 indicates: Themis board CPU too hot. The code originates in the CPU Board (Themis) — Thermal Protection section of the CPU Boards (Crius/Themis). Severity level alarm (Alarm).
Reported action: Check the obvious causes first: ambient temperature too high (continuous printing in an already-warm room, or the room itself too hot) and cooling of the Themis CPU board not efficient because airflow is blocked. If that looks fine, check connector P12 on the Crius CPU board and the wiring from P12 to the F2 fan motor, then check fan F2 itself. If none of that clears it, the CPU on the Themis board is defective and the board has to be replaced..
Raised on the Drystar 5500/5503 when the CPU temperature on the Themis board is too high. The printer reports it as "Themis board CPU too hot". Filed in the appendix's CPU-board fault-code table alongside the equivalent Crius board overheating code, HC10003.
