Primary service is provided by an InHouse engineer who is an employee of the customer. Per the FMI, the Z2 supply was set to zero amps and the magnet was shimmed. The Z2 supply was set to decrement a small amount of current daily to follow the Z2 magnet drift. The system was turned back over to the InHouse engineer. After ten months had elapsed, the InHouse engineer found the Z2 supply had hit the lower end of its range (-2.00 Amp). This is normal and expected. It was now his task to "re-zero" the supply and reshim the magnet to allow another ten months of drift. This is where a problem was encountered: There is no procedure under revision control in documentation directing the re-zeroing of the supply, what must be done to accomplish this. The InHouse engineer placed a service call to the OnLine Center for direction.
