Can't Display Images Written to CDR or DVD on Excite HD using Centricity DICOM Viewer version 2.1 on a PC or Laptop

Symptom

Can't Display Images Written to CDR or DVD on Excite HD using Centricity DICOM Viewer version 2.1 on a PC or Laptop See Long Description MR customers in Japan are trying to use the Centricity viewer version 2.1 on their PCs/laptops which are loaded with the Japanese version of Windows XP to read CDRs/DVDs written on the Excite HD system and cannot view the thumbnails nor the images. These PCs/laptops are running Internet Explorer 6.0 with Windows XP SP2 package: ver6.00.2900.2180. (Version of IE is 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_SP2_gdr.050301-1519). This was demonstrated on several PCs/laptops running this version of IE. The same CDRs/DVDs are successfully read on SP1 version. (ver6.00.2800.1106). However, it doesn't appear to be version-related as other PCs running this same version of IE were demonstrated to not have this problem. Upon inserting the CDR or DVD in the PC's CD/DVD drive, the Centricity DICOM viewer version 2.1 automatically starts with Internet Explorer, and a dialogue is displayed that says "Centricity DICOM Viewer has been tested with Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack2 and Internet Explorer 6.0 . Centricity DICOM Viewer is not guaranteed to work with the currently installed version." After that, no image is shown on viewer screen and no list is shown. Just wallpaper and menu of IE 6.0 is displayed. SPR MRIhc12966
