What survey meter can be used with HHS PRIMARY BARRIER TRANSMISSION test?The Fluke 451B (p/n 5270475) or Victoreen 470A (p/n TC750787) are the only Survey meters to be used in conjunction with a Rad meter for Innova Primary Barrier HHS tests. The Ludlum meter (GE tool pool p/n 2381102) Survey meter is not approved or validated for use on our Innova (or AdvantxE) systems. The Fluke 451B (p/n 5270475) or Victoreen 470A (p/n TC750787) are the only Survey meters to be used in conjunction with a Rad meter for Innova Primary Barrier HHS tests. Questions have arisen re: the use of a Ludlum 2401-EW Survey meter for the HHS Primary Barrier tests. This meter is not approved or validated for use on our Innova (or AdvantxE) systems. The Ludlum meter (GE tool pool p/n 2381102) is used by our PET FE's. It utilizes a thin end-window GM (Geiger-Mueller) tube detector, which is not designed for our type of radiation testing.
