Advantx 1 - This system had the Insite Computer for remote diagnostics which was connected by fiber to a Fiber/Ethernet Converter. The Fiber/Ethernet Converter was connected by a 50 ohm coax to J8 connector which goes to the arcnet hub floppy board. Although Insite has not been used for years (if ever) on this R&F room, it like many in the field, was still connected. Occasionally, the Fiber/Ethernet Converter would disturb the normal communication on the Arcnet Network. This problem was very intermittent. Sometimes the X-ray Tone and Light would not respond during an exposure. Sometimes the console would hesitate and then start responding during a request for a change on the console.
