Patient Anatomy Is Reversed On Axial And Coronal Views Due To Swapped Gradient Cables.
Symptom
Images Spatially Reversed Axial Are Nose Down or Coronal Images Face Right and Head or Feet are Reversed on Sagittal Axial Images Are Nose Down And Coronal Images Face Right, or the sagittal and coronal images are spatially reversed in all head, body, and surface coil scanning. The best way to describe this is that the "head is where the feet should be and vice versa", as though the patients are rotated 180 degrees along the Z or S/I axis.
