MRIQ: Uneven or Incomplete Fat Saturation with Invivo HDX 8 Channel NV Array Coil in NVARRAY_A Configuration in Neck and Brachial Plexus Studies See Long Description and Attachment This is an upgraded system from LX 9.1 to HDx 14 m4 with SP2 (Service Pack 2) During applications training the applications specialist noticed an image quality problem with HDX 8 channel NV array coil by Invivo model 5147135-2 in the NVARRAY_A configuration. The image quality problem impacts the neck and brachial plexus studies. The image appears noisy and with nonhomogeneous fat saturation. Manually checking the CFA fine showed very small signal and centered on wrong peak. Manual prescan and fine tuning of signal peak did not improve image quality. No problem with other configurations of this coil and other coil types. Attach some images from exam 24 series 5 (see Attachment). SNR test of the coil was passing fine, replacing the coil did not help. System is fully in spec. PQR 13090646, SPR MRIhc20373
